Please join us at our “Stories of Hope” Fall Fundraising Event on October 10th, where we will hear stories of hope and courage from members of the foster care community, and from the children themselves*.
Event is 21 and older. No cost to attend.

EVENT SPEAKERS
Sue Badeau
Sue Badeau is a nationally acclaimed speaker, educator, and child welfare professional working in adoption, foster care, juvenile justice and children’s mental health in both public and private agencies. She has developed curricula on many topics used to prepare professional child welfare staff, adoptive and foster parents, judges, attorneys and youth, and serves on several boards of directors. Sue and her husband Hector are lifetime parents of 22 children— two birthed, twenty adopted—in addition to being foster parents to 75.

Claudia Rowe
Claudia Rowe is an award-winning journalist whose work has appeared in the New York Times, Mother Jones, and the Huffington Post. Claudia is also the author of The Spider and the Fly - a crime memoir awarded the Washington State Book Award in 2018 - and Wards of the State, a riveting new book that explores the foster care to prison pipeline through the true stories of former foster youth across America.
